We know that the difference between a house and a neighborhood is shared open space, which makes communal experiences that much easier and more spontaneous.

We also orient the homes on lots to enhance privacy for each family while accentuating friendly street life. For example, driveways are placed at the back of the house with alley access, where possible. Courtyards, terraces and decks extend the usable area of each home well beyond the square footage of the interior and serve as outdoor living rooms.
